Medical humanities—with its emphasis on doctor-patient relationships, active listening, communication, and empathetic care—has become increasingly vital in contemporary society. The Sinology, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism encompass rich ethical philosophies centered on human relationships, including care, benevolence, kindness, and compassion. These intellectual resources can form a meaningful, organic connection with the medical humanities. The physicians, philosophers, and Sinology scholars are invited to engage in this cross-disciplinary dialogue . Faculty, students, and members of the general public are all warmly welcome to attend!
