Purpose of Establishment
National Cheng Kung University established the Research and Development Center for Chinese Studies in accordance with the regulations governing the establishment of the Industrial Innovation Headquarters, with the aim of promoting the parallel development of the internationalization and localization of Chinese Studies and strengthening the application and expansion of Chinese Studies in modern society.
The Center is dedicated to cultivating traditional culture while engaging with global academic developments, with the aspiration of becoming a leading hub of excellence in the field of Chinese Studies.
Mission of the Center

Develop specialized research in Chinese Studies: Taking scholarship as its foundation, the Center promotes research that responds to contemporary concerns.

Promote interdisciplinary collaboration: The Center works with universities, research institutions, and cultural organizations in Taiwan and abroad.
